In December 2024, one friend texted another with an idea.

"Would you be up for building a company around immersive city tours?"

A few initial conversations followed, and a couple of weeks later, on January 1st 2025, those two friends jumped on a video call and had the first proper conversation around what would become City Tales.

Since then, we've been quietly working away, building our first story. This is a central London based story that tells the tale of urban regeneration in the city towards the end of the 1800s, through the lens of a local inner city postman.

We're still figuring a lot of things out! But there's also a few things we're pretty clear on. And that's our mission, which is to bring fun, interactive outdoor stories to people in London. And also our method, which is all about leveraging the technology that Whatsapp has to offer, using it to bring you a multimedia immersive experience.
