About us

I’m Georgia, a founder at City Tales. I first met Craig, my co-founder and business partner, when we worked together as software developers in 2020. At the time, I was living in London but Craig was not; he moved to the city a year later, during the summer of 2021.

In many ways, we bonded over our love of exploring London. Having lived in the city for most of my life, I was a few steps ahead of Craig when it came to knowing the best places for a pub crawl, a late night dance or a romantic, candlelight dinner, (many restaurants apply, but Manteca comes to mind) but he’s an enviously swift learner, and caught up with me quickly. Over the past four years, we’ve had a lot of fun together, getting to know London with our friends. Craig’s now a pretty good guide of the city himself, though I like to hope he still refers to my extensive Google maps list of London restaurants, bars and cafes every once in a while.

Last December, Craig’s parents visited London and he took them on an immersive, self guided tour of the city. They enjoyed it, but the experience left Craig thinking that maybe he could build something similar, something even better. He came to me with this idea, and since then, we've been quietly working away, building our first story.

We're still figuring a lot of things out, but there's also a few things we're pretty clear on. We know our mission is to bring fun, interactive outdoor stories to people in London. And we’re using technology and our software development experience to deliver our stories to you through Whatsapp, bringing you a truly multimedia immersive experience.
